SILENT CHILD

Within the egg of Spirit dwells the god of silence Hoor-Pa-kraat. He holds back the words of speech and hears the voice of the silent self. Upon his head is the double crown of the upper and lower regions of the Nile, the water upon which he travels. Within the water is the crocodile called Sebek, whose open mouth devours future dreams. The crown is red and white to symbolize the nature of his powers and inscribed with the circled cross known as the 'Mark of the Beast'. Horns, baptized with Natures holy water protrude from the egg. From the crown leap forth two lion-serpents, representing creations of the word and the seed. All future is held in suspense, contained within the egg of natures sleep. The gold rays streaked across the green Earth form the surround of future life to come. The finger on the lips is double to reflect the twin nature of his being. Hoor-Pa-Kraat is the silent shadow self that dwells within the soul.
